A Day in Cornwall, NY

Cornwall, New York is home to an extensive network of hiking trails with some of the most beautiful views of the Hudson River. If you're looking for a day of outdoor adventure Cornwall is a great place to venture.

Storm King Art Center is just around the corner, you can also take a Kayak tour over to Bannerman's Island (Storm King Adventure Tours or Mountain Valley Guides run those), or you could enjoy a hike up Storm King Mountain which connects to Black Rock Forest if you feel like going really wild.

When it comes to food and coffee 2 Alice's Coffee Lounge has your morning covered, my personal favorite things to get there are iced peach green teas or a Lavender Latte's.

After all the outdoor activity, Jones Farm, Prima Pizza or Rock Wall Pub and Grub are great options for lunch. If you go with the pizza option you could always get it to go and enjoy on the picnic benches in Riverlight Park especially if you have your pup in toe.

For a little shopping Cornwall Country Store, Cornwall Mercantile, or every second Friday during the warmer months there is an art walk that starts at 5pm where local artists set up market stalls to share and sell their work.
